We’ve added search to our app and API. You can search for:

Customers (legal persons) – search for corporations (limited companies), sole traders, individuals, or officers (directors and PSCs) by name
Bank accounts – find accounts using the full or partial 8-digit account number
Payments – look up payments using Unique Scheme IDs (e.g. FPID for Faster Payments) or payment references

Roles and permissions

Search results respect your existing role permissions. For example, you’ll only see payment information if you’ve been assigned the Accounts and payments viewer role (or a role with equivalent permissions).

What's next

This is our first iteration of search and we’re keen for your feedback. We'll be expanding search to include additional parameters and entities, including users within your organisation and searching for legal persons with other identifiers.
