Manage members of pooled accounts with our updated API

Who are the members of a pooled account?

The members of a pooled bank account are the individuals or businesses who own the money in that account. Each member is represented by a legal person associated with the account.

What’s changed?

We’ve introduced two new endpoints so you can manage the membership of a pooled account. You’ll need to add members when you first set up the account. You’ll also need to confirm that the membership is up-to-date at least once every 24 hours while the account is open.

Now, you can:

  • Add and remove legal persons to a pooled account and update the pooled account membership on a daily basis

  • Retrieve a list of all existing legal persons associated with a pooled account including the date and time of when they were added

Any legal person added to a pooled account will need to have been onboarded already. To learn more about pooled account membership, check out our guide.

Why have we done it?

Pooled account membership makes it easier for you to track and manage which of your customers are associated with a pooled account.

How will this affect existing integrations?

Existing integrations won’t be affected.
