Get instant notifications with webhooks

What’s changed?

You can now receive instant notifications of events with webhooks. At the moment, you can monitor transaction events with the transaction-created webhook.

You’ll receive a detailed notification, whenever a new transaction is added to an account. These notifications will include the updated account balance, allowing you to keep track of a running balance on an account.

Use these real-time transaction alerts to:

• Create your own real-time transaction logs

• Notify customers instantly when a payment lands in their account

• Automate specific workflows within your system

You can also view a complete list of all event notifications sent using our events API.

How can I create a webhook?

You can access the webhooks page through the developers menu:

Why have we done it?

With webhooks you can receive instant updates about activity in your Griffin accounts. This helps you to keep your customers informed as well. For example, you can update a customer’s in-app balance as soon as they receive a payment.

Will this affect existing integrations?

No. Webhooks will not affect any existing integrations.
