Changes to the occupation field in our individual onboarding workflow

What’s changed?

If you are using our API for onboarding, the occupation field in the employment claim is now optional and if you are using our app we have removed the occupation field.

In addition, we have added 6 new industry types to the industry-of-occupation field. The full industry list can be found here.

These changes affect the Individual Default and Individual Landlord workflows.

How will this affect existing integrations?

There is no effect on existing integrations because occupation is now an optional claim. You can, however, choose to stop collecting occupation from individual customers, in which case you will need to update your integration.
