Onboard individuals resident outside the UK

You can now submit individuals who reside outside the UK. This is available on the Reliance and Outsourced onboarding models only. See our Onboarding models guide for how these work.

What's changed for your integration?

The data we need is the same as for onboarding a UK resident, except that nationality is also a required field for international individuals.

Which countries can I onboard from?

We accept international customers who reside in over 100 jurisdictions. Some countries are not currently supported because of their risk exposure. We share details of these restrictions directly with our customers.

Does this work in the sandbox?

Yes.

I want this. How do I get it?

International onboarding is enabled individually for each of our customers. International residents can carry a higher risk, for this reason we must first confirm you have appropriate controls in place to manage these customers. Talk to your Customer Success manager or email product@griffin.com to get set up.
